LATROBE, PA - Saturday, day 3 of Steelers training camp, starting guard Ramon Foster was carted off of the field with what appeared to be a significant left knee injury. The incident occurred just a few plays into the full-field 11-on-11 scrimmage.
Foster remained on his backside for several minutes as team trainers took to examination. As practice moved downfield, B.J. Finney replaced Foster.
A little after 4 pm, Foster rose to his feet with the help of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and coaching assistant Marcel Pastoor, as they then proceeded to hop on the medical cart to pursue further treatment.
