The Super Bowl hasn't been played yet but the offseason rumor mill is already starting. It is reported that the Pittsburgh Steelers are one of four teams interested in Green Bay Packers free agent running back Aaron Jones this offseason. This should come as no surprise as the Steelers are looking to reignite their running game that was the worst in the NFL. The 26 year old running back is coming off back-to-back seasons where he rushed for over 1,000 yards. Jones tied for the NFL lead in total touchdowns (19) in 2019. If this news is true, the Steelers will have to get started on some creative accounting with their current salary cap situation.
#Packers running back Aaron Jones is expected to receive heavy interest from the #Dolphins, #49ers, #Steelers, and #Bears. Plenty of other teams will have interest, but those four are teams to keep a close eye on. Green Bay would still like to re-sign him as well.
