The Pittsburgh Steelers and the rest of the NFL world continue to await the updated status of Buffalo Bills' second-year defensive back, Damar Hamlin. He remains in critical condition after suffering cardiac arrest in Monday night's match-up against the Cincinnati Bengals. Prayers, support and even donations resume as the 24 year old safety is still hospitalized at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Earlier on Tuesday afternoon, Pittsburgh head coach, Mike Tomlin spoke on Hamlin as the two have a close relationship. Tomlin has known him since he was 12 years old and is saddened at the tragedy that took place last night. Along with Tomlin, players and teams across the league have spoken out in various ways, especially through social media. Earlier this evening, every NFL team actually decided to switch their profile pictures accordingly:

As mentioned, donations continue to pile in for Hamlin as well. His GoFundMe page for The Chasing M's Foundation Community Toy Drive is over $5 million. The page now reads as follows:

"This fundraiser was initially established to support a toy drive for Damar’s community, sponsored by the Chasing M’s Foundation.

However, it has received renewed support in light of Damar’s current battle and we can’t thank all of you enough. Your generosity and compassion mean the world to us.

If you would like to show your support and contribute to Damar’s community initiatives and his current fight, this is the place to do so. This is the only current fund that is being used by the Hamlin Family.

Again, thank you for your thoughts, prayers and generous support during this time.

Damar created The Chasing M’s Foundation to use as a vehicle to bring lasting impact to his community. The foundation supports toy drives, back-to-school drives, kids camps, and more."

We continue to pray for Damar and his family during this time. It's amazing to see the support the football community is giving right now, and this is an amazing social media initiative the NFL is currently running as well to stay involved.
