Leading up to the 2021 NFL Draft starting on April 29th, we will be releasing several draft profiles of prospects who could potentially see themselves on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Next up…
Trey Hill (IOL) Georgia, Junior
The Need:
Long-time Steelers center, Maurkice Pouncey announced his retirement early this offseason. That move leaves a big hole on the offensive line for the Steelers to fill. The team brought back a former Steeler B.J. Finney on a 1-year deal a little over a week ago, but the team still needs to find a long-term replacement for Pouncey at the center position. Based on reports, the Steelers are already showing some level of interest in Hill.
Georgia center Trey Hill says he's talked with the Steelers "a lot" and also says he models his game partially after the Pouncey twins. Both Kevin Colbert and Mike Tomlin were at UGA's pro day today.

Hill measures in at 6'4" and 330 lbs. He is projected as a 4th-5th round pick. Hill started at center, but showed some versatility by starting several games at guard during his time with the Bulldogs as well. Hill is most likely a Day 3 option if the Steelers pass on the position in the earlier rounds of the draft.
