First reported by Colin Dunlap, host of the Fan Morning Show in Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Justin Layne was arrested early Friday morning on charges of firearm in vehicle and driving under suspension.

Layne's role was expected to grow this year with the departure of Steven Nelson, but it will remain to be seen the outcome of this situation.
