How are the Steelers going to replace JuJu Smith-Schuster?

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 3-3 going into their bye week. After winning their first game in Buffalo, it went downhill very fast for the Steelers. They would go on to lose their next three games and players along the way, including guys like Tyson Alualu, and JuJu Smith-Schuster. Replacing both is hard, but the Steelers might have found the answer to filling in the void for JuJu.

The Steelers would try to bring in some talent, but where will the answer come to fill in for JuJu? Is it Anthony Miller who they just signed to the practice squad? Is it finally James Washington's time to shine? My guess is it's going to be the 2nd round pick from Penn State, Pat Freiermuth.

The rookie had himself an impressive preseason, but started off very slow behind Eric Ebron who was the number one tight end entering the regular season. Prior to this past weekend's game against the Seattle Seahawks, Pat only had 11 targets total in the previous five games. But Sunday night, in the first game without JuJu, Pat made his mark. Pat would have 7 targets which is a huge jump from any of the past five games. A lot of his catches would be in the same range that JuJu would usually get (in that 3 to 9-yard range. Could "Muth" be the guy to fit the void left by Smith-Schuster? The early signs would say yes, but the next few weeks after the bye will make it more clear for the young tight end. The Steelers will find out more if the man from the Penn State is the answer as they go to Cleveland on Halloween.
