I can't say I completely disagree with CBS Sports' top 10 quarterbacks in the AFC. Although Pittsburgh Steelers QB Mitch Trubisky isn't listed, that's not what has my eyebrows raised right now. It's the fact that he's not listed as a top 16 starting AFC QB at all. Check this list out:

These rankings were compiled by Cody Benjamin, who covers the NFL for CBS Sports, joining their team in 2017. An author and writer, he was raised around the Philly sports scene, but now lives in Minnesota with his wife and two kids according to his CBS Sports bio.
Interestingly enough, not only did Benjamin decide to leave Trubisky off his rankings, he actually decided to include Pittsburgh's 2022 first round draft pick, Kenny Pickett, coming in at No. 14.

Pickett is listed ahead of New York Jets quarterback, Zach Wilson, and Houston Texans quarterback, Davis Mills. Albeit both Wilson and Mills have struggled in their early careers, combining for 21 interceptions and only 25 touchdowns, they have 24 NFL starts between them. Whereas Pickett, mind you, has yet to take an NFL snap during a regular season.
I'm not saying Pickett doesn't have the potential to be a top 16 QB in the AFC. The sky is the limit for the 20th overall pick. But to not include Trubisky, who right now is the QB1 in Pittsburgh, is a bit puzzling.

Trubisky, 27, is entering his sixth year in the league and has 50 games started under his belt between both the Chicago Bears who drafted him in 2017, and the Buffalo Bills whom he played for in 2021. He's 29-21 in those games, throwing for over 10,600 yards and 64 touchdowns. He has a career QB rating of 87.0, and he was a Pro Bowler in 2018. You'd be surprised to see how Trubisky stacks up to some of the other quarterbacks mentioned above. Take a look:
You be the judge, Steeler Nation. Do you agree with the CBS Sports rankings from Benjamin? Should Pickett be on the list instead of Trubisky, or vice versa? Sound off in the comment section below!
