The catch being talked about around the world. Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver, George Pickens is everything as advertised and more. Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns, his talent was on full display as he made most likely, the best catch of the year. Take a look:

Friday, Pittsburgh's defensive captain, Cam Heyward spoke on the phenomenal play on his podcast show, Not Just Football with Cam Heyward. He not only compared the catch to Odell Beckham Jr.'s famous play almost a decade ago, but he also gave huge props to running back, Najee Harris, who also had an amazing play of his own on Thursday night:

"There's one play in particular that I thought was amazing," Heyward stated first about Harris. "They [Cleveland Browns] sent a blitz and Najee flipped the linebacker [Heyward says with a smile]. And then, Mitch [Trubisky] came out of the pocket and delivered the ball down the field. And I just thought it was a great play. Great pass pro[tection]. Mitch made some really good plays."

Heyward then followed up about the Pickens catch:

"I know everybody is gonna talk about the George Pickens catch. Man, OBJ's catch was pretty spectacular, but the thing I loved about George's, he had to fight for position, and then he just had to reach back... It's unbelievable. Both plays are really cool to see. He definitely gets the team hype. You get excited for a young guy like that. George, we're going to need some more of that. Hopefully this is just the welcome party."

Pittsburgh unfortunately fell to the Browns, 29-17 at FirstEnergy Stadium Thursday night and will use the long week to prepare for the New York Jets at Acrisure Stadium a week from Sunday. There's much to clean up, especially on the offensive side of the ball, but if offensive coordinator, Matt Canada can continue to find ways to get Pickens the ball in the open field, the sky is the limit for this young team.
