The season is FINALLY starting for the Pittsburgh Steelers! Tuesday is the first day of training camp for the new look boys in black and gold. With many questions heading into it, players are arriving in Latrobe, PA for this first time since 2019.

One player who has already arrived on the scene is second-year offensive lineman, Kendrick Green. He arrived Tuesday morning and was answering questions from the media right away. Green was asked what position he thought he would be playing, and it really sounded like he is most interested in playing left guard. However, he did mention that he could play "all three" interior o-line positions.

Green also was asked about how this season’s offense will compare to last years:

"A lot of our stuff will be pretty similar to last year…nothing to crazy.”

Green will be competing for a starting job over the course of training camp and the preseason games with offensive guard, Kevin Dotson. Check out the full clip here:

Young running back star, Najee Harris showed up to training camp on Tuesday morning as well in an off-road utility vehicle, because why not? The RB got out of his vehicle with some jokes for the media, “this all y'all do?” Harris was asked if he was open to talk to the media and he mentioned how he has to weigh himself in the facility. This is because apparently some media members are calling him "fat." While that is wildly not true, Harris continues to be fun and comical with the media.

News came out very recently how Harris has zero fat and added more muscle during the off-season. Harris is continuing to excite all of Steelers fans for what should be a crazy season for the second-year back.

LB Alex Highsmith arrived in Latrobe with good spirits before heading into the facility, as he should. Highsmith is heading into his third season in the NFL and his second as a starter on the defense. Last season, Highsmith started in 16 games and had a solid campaign. He had 74 combined tackles, 46 solo tackles, 28 assists, 15 TFL, and 15 QB hits. Those numbers were greatly improved compared to his rookie season in 2020. Steelers fans can expect even better from him in 2022 as it is clear that he is a quick learner.

It is time to get excited, Steeler fans! This is where the season starts, no more off-season. This is where starting positions are won and lost. What are yinz wanting to see the most in training camp? Click to comment below!
