The Pittsburgh Steelers have had rookie Kenny Pickett at third on the 'unofficial' depth chart throughout the spring and this past week in Latrobe. The entire time Mitchell Trubisky has taken the first team reps, Mason Rudolph second team, and Pickett with the 3's. But suddenly that changed on Monday.

During practice it was still Trubisky taking the first team reps but coming in with the second team was Pickett. Rudolph took the third team reps. And for the first time this camp it seemed like Pickett was able to get into a rhythm. Pickett found fellow rookie receiver Calvin Austin III with a shovel pass for a touchdown at one point.

Kenny really setting in today. He’s been running for his life, but settling in haha. #HereWeGo
Pickett reportedly found Miles Boykin on two separate occasions with nice passes. On another play Pickett had rookie tight end Connor Heyward wide open in the endzone but the two couldn't connect.

Steelers Mike Tomlin Says Not To Read Into It
After practice head coach Mike Tomlin was asked about the distribution of quarterback reps on Monday. According to ESPN reporter Brooke Pryor Tomlin told reporters that each quarterback would be moving around, and that there shouldn't be much read into it. But Tomlin said he knows everyone is going to take it in a different tone than he is.
Also asked Mike Tomlin about giving Kenny Pickett second team reps and Mason Rudolph third. He said we’ll see all quarterbacks with all groups.

I asked if we should read anything into the order and he said, “I wouldn’t, but I know you will.”
