The Pittsburgh Steelers had another key player leave Sunday's pre-season game against the Detroit Lions with an injury. First it was, wide receiver Diontae Johnson with a shoulder injury and then it was a key member of the defense and former Defensive Player of the Year, T.J. Watt.

Injuries in the pre-season are always taken with precaution, but it is always going to cause Steelers fans to worry when the heart and soul of the defense, and maybe even the team, exits after hurting his knee. Lions' tight end, T.J. Hockenson came around to Watt's end and hit him low. The hit was very similar to the block that injured New York Giants' rookie, Kayvon Thibodeaux.

The situation with Watt's is, of course, very fluid and updates will come in throughout the evening. The last thing the defense needs is a significant injury to its' most important player.
It was a clean football hit, but what do you make of head coach, Mike Tomlin leaving his star defender in for almost the entirety of the first half? Let us know in the comments below!
