The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in a wild affair that took every second of overtime to be completed. Kicker Chris Boswell redeemed himself after missing once during overtime to beat the Bengals 23-20.

But the more important news is that star TJ Watt may be out for the season. Watt was injured late in the game as the Bengals drove to tie the game as tie in regulation expired.
With the camera focusing on Watt as he exited the field you could read his lips as he said 'I tore it'. Watt was referring to his left pectoral muscle.

Now reports after the game from Adam Schefter seem to confirm what Watt said as he came off the field.
Steelers believe TJ Watt tore his pec and he is scheduled to undergo scans Monday to confirm diagnosis, per source.

Watt was beginning the season right where he left off a year ago. He had six tackles, three tackles for loss, two passes defended, an interception and one QB hit. He will be undergoing an MRI tomorrow to find out the extent of the injury, but this is likely to end his season. His brother, JJ Watt suffered a torn pec back in 2019 and returned a couple months later, but it was extremely risky to do so. He was also mostly ineffective in the one playoff game he played when he returned.
Steelers fans everywhere are all hoping for an unexpected turn of events after Monday's MRI, but this would be the biggest loss to the team in-season since Ben Roethlisberger's season-ending surgery in 2019.
