PITTSBURGH, PA - Between Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed five of their nine total picks from the 2019 NFL Draft. These signings included:
Isaiah Buggs (DL - Alabama) - Four-year contract. Was Steelers' second of three sixth round picks, selected with the 192nd pick overall.
Sutton Smith (OLB - Northern Illinois) - Four-year contract. Was Steelers' first of three sixth round picks, selected with the 175th pick overall.
Diontae Johnson (WR - Toledo) - Four-year contract. Johnson was the 66th pick overall (acquired from the Oakland Raiders).
Benny Snell (RB - Kentucky) - Four-year contract. Was selected with the 122nd pick overall.
Derwin Gray (OL - Maryland) - Four-year contract. Was Steelers' seventh round draft pick, selected with the 219th pick overall. Gray was drafted as an offensive tackle, but Coach Mike Tomlin said he could move to guard via Steelers.com.
