Monday night was a rough night for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as they suffered their first defeat of the 2020 season at the hands of the Washington Football Team. On top of this they also lost a couple players to injury. One of them was inside linebacker, Robert Spillane.

Spillane went down with a knee injury and would not return. Fans everywhere were fearing the worst due to the amount of season ending knee injuries the team has suffered already.

This morning however, they received good news:

Spillane will not miss the season or require surgery. This will be huge in the long run, as the Steelers are still a team looking to make a deep playoff run. We are all hoping Spillane recovers quickly and will be back soon and ready to go. Until then, expect Avery Williamson and  Marcus Allen to get reps at inside linebacker.
