According to Adam Schefter on Twitter Thursday morning, the Salary Cap floor has been raised by the NFL from $175M to $180M. Since the Salary Cap has not been finalized, we still don’t know the exact number the teams will operate for the 2021 season. We do however know that the Pittsburgh Steelers cap room officially increased by $5M.
So as we stand today, the Steelers are currently $19,238,547 over the cap. Hopefully the cap number will continue to increase, because every dollar that it does, helps the Steelers significantly.
NFL informed teams today the salary cap this season will be a minimum of $180 million.

The Salary Cap last year was $198.2M and had been increasing by $8M-$12M each year. Had the cap continued to increase as expected, the Steelers would currently be under the cap.
