The first of the Steelers Super Bowls to make the list ranking was Super Bowl IX, where it ranked at 37. The game featured Pittsburgh and the Minnesota Vikings. It was the Steelers' first ever Super Bowl and gave a showdown between Fran Tarkenton and Terry Bradshaw. This game as well gave fans a first look at the Steel Curtain in the big game.

Super Bowl XL is next on CBS's ranking, coming in at 28. The game was between the Seattle Seahawks and the Steelers. This Super Bowl featured some exciting moments, such as Antwaan Randle El throwing an amazing passing touchdown to a high-stepping Hines Ward. The game finished with the Steelers getting a ring for the thumb, along with Bill Cowher and Jerome Bettis riding off into the sunset.

The Steelers' victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl X is next on the list, ranking in at 24. The big takeaway from this Super Bowl is the performance of Lynn Swann and Terry Bradshaw. Swann going into this game was expected not to play due to a concussion, but would play and end up earning the Super Bowl MVP and having one of the greatest catches of all-time.

The most acrobatic catch in Super Bowl history began at the Steelers’ 46-yard line where Swann first leapt for a Terry Bradshaw pass. Soaring over Dallas cornerback Mark Washington, Swann tipped the ball ahead at midfield, then lunged forward to catch the ball at the Cowboys’ 44.

Next on the rankings is the Steelers' first-ever Super Bowl loss in Super Bowl XXX. This game featured a Neil O'Donnell-led Steelers team going up against the Cowboys yet again. The game had a rough start by Pittsburgh leading into a great comeback, but falling just short of getting that ring.

The Steelers' second loss in Super Bowl XLV ranked at 18. The game featured prime Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, against prime Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Packers would be able to keep an edge on the Steelers throughout the entire game, even until the final minutes of the game.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl XIV. Despite the final score of the game being 31-19, the contest was very close for most of the time, with Bradshaw struggling early on. However, the Steelers would use a great fourth quarter to seal the game. This win would put a cap on a great time in Steelers history, with Pittsburgh's fourth Super Bowl in six years.

Coming in at number 10 on CBS's rankings is the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII. This game featured some all-time great moments, from James Harrison hobbling down the sideline for an insane touchdown interception, to Santonio Holmes making what is considered one of the greatest catches ever as he tapped his toes in the endzone. All in all, a fantastic game with many great memories.

The last Super Bowl for the Steelers to appear in is Super Bowl XIII when they went up against the Cowboys. A performance of seven passing touchdowns between the two teams, Terry Bradshaw and Roger Staubach truly put on a show for the fans. With a record (at the time) performance from Bradshaw and the all-out slugfest of a game, CBS ranks it as the fifth-best Super Bowl of all-time.
