With the NFL free agency period just weeks away, the Pittsburgh Steelers look to have a very memorable offseason. After securing their franchise quarterback, Kenny Pickett in last year's NFL Draft, Pittsburgh looks to make some needed additions, as well as bring back some current players. CBS recently put out who they think the Top 100 players entering the Free Agency are and four Steelers just so happened to make the list.

Solid Starter for the Steelers

The first of the Steelers to make the list is a former first-round pick, Terrell Edmunds. CBS ranks him as the 99th-best player entering free agency. In 2018, Pittsburgh took a shot at Edmunds with the 28th pick in the first round. He never truly got to where they wanted him to be, but in 2022, he showed some promise. As of now, he is no Minkah Fitzpatrick, but he has been a solid starter for the Steelers. With Edmunds only being 26 years old, he still has a ton of football left to play, so it would be smart of the Steelers to bring him back on a contract. CBS had this to say about Edmunds entering free agency:

"He had his best season in 2022 at the right time as he enters free agency. At 26, his best football should be ahead of him. "

Next on the list, ranking in at 62nd is defensive end, Chris Wormley. After having a down year, Wormley is still a valuable veteran for the Steelers. Looking back to 2021, he was able to put up 51 total tackles, 7 sacks, and a forced fumble. But after having a season-ending injury against the Baltimore Ravens last season, questions will arise about how he will perform going forward. He is still someone I would like to be playing next year for the Steelers, as he brings a lot of value. CBS states this about the veteran:

"He isn't flashy, but he's a good steady veteran who can hold up against the run. He plays down end in their scheme, but would be an inside player in others."

Coming in at 48th, is defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi. After picking up Ogunjobi from our conference rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals, I was uncertain how well he would perform with the Steelers. But the consistency that he had with the Cleveland Browns, as well as the Bengals carried over to Pittsburgh. In 2022, he had 48 total tackles and was a valuable piece to the defensive line. CBS had this to say about Ogunjobi:

"After failing a physical with the Bears that negated a three-year deal, he signed a one-year deal with the Steelers last season. He is a penetrating, up-the-field, defensive tackle, who played down end in the Steelers' scheme."

Last on the list for the Steelers is a guy who impressed me in 2022. CBS ranks cornerback Cameron Sutton as the 26th most valuable player in the 2023 NFL free agency. Sutton is coming off of arguably his best season yet, as he had 43 total tackles and 3 interceptions. In a position that is already weak for Pittsburgh, Sutton is a must to bring back next season. CBS gave high praise to Sutton:

"He can play inside and outside and is coming off an impressive season on the outside. That will give him a nice market at the age of 28."
