It's that time again -- one of the biggest days of the season for Pittsburgh Steelers fans. It's NFL Schedule release day! Tonight at 8pm ET, the NFL will officially release it's 2023 NFL schedule for all 32 teams. That means all across the country, fans will be able to start planning trips to watch their favorite teams. It also means that you'll be able to let your buddy know if you can come to his wedding or not.

Throughout the day, there are going to be plenty of 'leaks' that pop up. We must tell you directly that not every single leak is going to be true. It happens every year that a reliable source gets it wrong. So be aware when reading this post that there is no way to tell if anything is completely real until it's announced by the Steelers themselves.
Now the first leak of the day comes from a pretty reliable source. According to The Athletic's Green Bay Packers beat writer, Matt Schneidman, the Steelers will face the Packers at home during Week 10. The date and time of that game would be Nov. 12 for a 1pm kickoff. This report comes as part of an entire schedule leak from Schneidman.

The Steelers have a lot of highly anticipated games this season. Three trips to the west coast have all of Steeler Nation ready to take over the stadiums in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. Plenty of fans are hoping for a Sunday night tilt in Vegas with the Raiders. While it's likely Steelers' fans take over all of these destinations, it's Vegas that many have circled. It'll be the Steelers first trip to Allegiant Stadium and the Raiders will be looking to avenge their last-minute loss from a bitter cold night on Christmas Eve last season.
Steelers Strength Of Schedule
The Steelers rank near the bottom of the NFL in opponents' strength of schedule. This comes after the 2022 season in which the Steelers had the 12th hardest strength of schedule in the entire NFL. Steelers opponents finished the 2022 season with a record of 134-151-2, which comes in at a .470 winning percentage.

Steelers 2023 Big Rematches
New England Patriots @ Pittsburgh Steelers

While Mac Jones versus Kenny Pickett does not carry the same weight as Tom Brady versus Ben Roethlisberger, this game still means something to both of these diehard fan bases. Hopefully, Pickett can reverse the trend of the Patriots having the Steelers’ number. Over the past 10 matchups (including playoffs) between New England and Pittsburgh, the Steelers have won a whopping two games. Thanks a lot, Tom Brady.
During the 2022 regular season game between these two foes, a costly muffed punt by Steelers WR Gunner Olszewski was the deciding play in a 17-14 victory for the Patriots. Following the turnover, Damien Harris put New England up 17-6, which was too big of a deficit for the Mitch Trubisky lead Steelers’ offense to overcome. Expect the Steelers to seek revenge next season.
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Indianapolis Colts

It was a game that the Steelers nearly let slip through their hands. After jumping out to a big first half lead the Colts slowly but surely came back and eventually took a 17-16 lead. Najee Harris was injured and left the game early giving way to Benny Snell for his first offensive game action of the season.
He ran for 62 yards, scored the go-ahead touchdown with 9:55 left and then watched as his teammates fended off a last-minute comeback bid. Horrendous clock management by coach Jeff Saturday, and quarterback Matt Ryan doomed the Colts as they wasted nearly a minute of time before finally calling their first timeout prior to a 4th down play. The timeout didn't help as Ryan would ultimately throw an incomplete pass and the Steelers would take over on downs.
