Recently, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Kenny Pickett had his car stolen from him while doing a radio interview. His car was found though with minimal damage. Pickett isn't the only player in the AFC North to get robbed recently. Reports came out Tuesday that Cleveland Browns players Greg Newsome II and Demetric Felton both also had vehicles stolen over the weekend.

The players had their vehicles stolen at two separate locations. Newsome reportedly had his vehicle stolen at gunpoint Monday morning. News 5 Cleveland reported that Newsome was at a nightclub in Cleveland when the incident occurred and that the robbers drove off with his truck and jewelry. The location was near Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, which is home to the Cleveland Cavaliers. His teammate Perrion Winfrey and another person were with him when the incident happened. It is also worth noting that Newsome suffered no injuries other than trauma.
"At around 2:15 a.m., Newsome left Rumor Nightclub and went to Filter Bar and Lounge, 740 W. Superior Ave., and parked his 2022 Dodge Ram TRK in the lot next to the establishment. At around 3:30 a.m., Newsome went out to his truck, and six men wearing masks got out of a nearby car and robbed him at gunpoint, the report said. The robbers took Newsome's jewelry and drove off in his truck."
This was the second robbery to happen to a Browns player over the weekend. Felton was the first one to have his vehicle stolen. Currently, there isn't much information on the situation with Felton. All that is known is that it was a Dodge Hellcat that was stolen from him on Sunday. The Instagram account @EastCoastDurangos shared a picture of the car in hopes of Felton being able to retrieve it.
Vehicle theft is very hot in the city of Cleveland. Almost 2,000 cars were stolen from the city in 2022 and the numbers seem to increase every year. But it is not just occurring in Cleveland, this is a problem that is happening all over the United States. Even in Pittsburgh like we saw earlier with Pickett having his stolen.

Newsome and Felton aren't the only Browns to have their vehicles stolen this year either. In January, Browns' quarterback Deshaun Watson had his truck stolen at a Mercedes-Benz dealership in North Olmsted, Ohio. It was one of five vehicles stolen at the time. This happened after a pandemic of car thefts that had occurred for weeks prior. Cleveland.com reported that Watson's truck was ultimately found.
"Three vehicles were ultimately found, including Watson’s truck, which was abandoned in a ditch along eastbound I-480 near Clague Road. Another was found on I-480 and I-77 in Cleveland, and a third vehicle was found on Minor Avenue in Cleveland."

Steelers Vs Browns Have Become A Classic Over The Years
Although Steelers fans may feel pity for the Browns players now, once the season starts, it will be a completely different vibe. The Steelers and the Browns have become a classic rivalry over the years. From Bill Belichick going up against Bill Cowher in the 1990s, to the modern-day war of Pickett vs Watson, no matter the showing, it is sure to delight fans from both sides. This year should be no different. The focus of this year's outing between the two is on the Steelers' young explosive offense and the young defensive core that the Browns have. This should make for a great matchup in 2023.
