Pittsburgh Steelers former star wide receiver, Antonio Brown has again been arrested in Broward County, Florida. Brown, who left the Steelers in 2018, has been in a long downward spiral ever since. Brown has been accused before of failing to pay child support and ordered to pay, but after failing to do so, it seems the mother of his child has had enough and gotten the law involved.

Recently, Brown was arrested in Broward County for failing to pay child support for one of his six children. According to Local News Channel 10, the jail records show that the 35-year-old was booked on an out-of-county warrant.
The child, named Antanyiah, lives with her mother, Wiltrice Jackson. Jackson told TMZ that Brown owes her nearly $31,000 in unpaid child support.
"I do want him arrested," Jackson said to TMZ. "Because, right now, he's making a mockery out of the judge, out of everything, because he feels like he's untouchable."
Brown was arrested outside of his home in Dania Beach, Florida. He was since released on a $15,000 bond. This isn't the first time the courts have been involved with Brown and his support payments.

A judge ruled back in August that Brown needed to make the payment or risk arrest. According to Jackson, there has been no improvement in the situation since then and she is frustrated. She added that it is not all about money for her, she also wants him to be involved with his 15-year-old daughter.
"By him having a daughter like an athlete like her, you would think he'd be in her corner to support her," said Jackson.
Antanyiah is a budding star athlete in her own right. She runs track and field at her local high school and has her father's speed. She is currently getting interest from a number of schools, mom says more than 80, including the University of Miami and the University of Oregon.
Steelers' Antonio Brown's Downward Spiral Continues
Brown has been involved in a variety of incidents since leaving the Steelers. He seemed to be destined for a Hall of Fame career with 837 receptions, 11,207 yards, and 74 touchdowns in Pittsburgh alone. He left the Steelers via a trade with the then-Oakland Raiders who made him the highest-paid receiver in the NFL at that time. He had several off-field incidents that even the Raiders did not want any part of and they released him before he ever got to play a regular season game.

The talent is undisputed and other teams were interested. He did a brief stint with the New England Patriots, but was cut amid allegations of sexual assault. He was fortunate enough to play with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with whom he won a Super Bowl. Despite the efforts of the staff and his quarterback Tom Brady, Brown was unable to keep himself in check. They released him after he stripped off his uniform during a game and ran up and down the field.
After no other NFL team would sign him, he bought a National Arena League team, the Albany Empire. He swore he was going to help return the Empire and the NAL. However, those dreams imploded as Brown refused to pay the league fees and even player salaries. Ultimately the board excised Brown and the Empire from the league entirely.
In addition to not handling his team professionally, Brown has been accused of not paying restaurant bills and for custom jewelry. He has also been accused of not paying child support for multiple children.

The reasons for Brown's devolving behavior are impossible to know. Was he always a bit of a "problem child" and the Steelers just helped manage him? Is it true that he suffered CTE from repeated hits while playing as Ramon Foster and others have suggested? The speculation continues.
