Since the Pittsburgh Steelers' schedule was released back in May, there has been a 'to be determined' note next to their Week 15 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. We now know what day and time they will play that weekend. As assumed, the team will play on Saturday with a kickoff time of 4:30pm ET.

The game was one of a handful of Week 15 contests the league did not set a date and time for when the schedule was originally released. Along with the Steelers, the Minnesota Vikings will play the Cincinnati Bengals at 1:00pm ET, and the third part of the tripleheader will be the Denver Broncos at the Detroit Lions. All of these games will play on NFL Network. If you're in the Pittsburgh market, you'll be able to see that game on KDKA.

Along with this announcement, the NFL also decided to use their power to flex a Monday Night Football game for the very first time in NFL history. The Kansas City Chiefs-New England Patriots game that was originally scheduled for Monday night was moved to Sunday at 1:00pm ET. Replacing it will be the Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks.

Steelers Beat Colts In 2022

It will be the second year in a row that the Steelers will travel to Indianapolis. Last season, the Steelers played the Colts on Monday Night Football, beating them 24-17. After Pittsburgh jumped out to a large lead, the Colts rallied back in the second half scoring 14 unanswered points before taking a 17-16 lead.

Replacing an injured Najee Harris, Benny Snell Jr. would score the winning touchdown in the fourth quarter. The Steelers defense would eventually put the Colts away after stopping them on a fourth down and three with :30 seconds left.

The Steelers are 11-19 all time on Saturday games during the regular season and playoffs.
