The Pittsburgh Steelers needed to go into their 2023 Week 15 game against the Indianapolis Colts and prove that their consecutive losses to two-win teams would be the wake-up call that this team needed. As the time ticked down on their complete collapse versus the Colts, one person, in particular, seemed to take a great amount of joy in Pittsburgh's loss and apparently made it known on social media. Despite what Steelers fans may think of Devin Bush, he is the one getting the last laugh... at least for now.

Steelers Former Bust Trolls Team After Horrific Loss
Leading up to their clash with Indianapolis, it seemed as though the players in the Steelers organization understood the gravity of the game, especially with so many AFC teams locked up at 7-6 coming into Week 15. As it turns out, either no one actually took it seriously, or the 2023 Steelers simply aren't good enough to turn things around. Whichever answer it is, Bush took to X to possibly let everyone know how much he was enjoying his former team crash and burn.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💀💀

Bush was never the stalwart on defense that Pittsburgh hoped for when they traded up in the first round of the 2019 draft for the speedy linebacker. When all was said and done, Bush's speed ended up being one of his many weak areas by overrunning plays regularly and never living up to his draft status. Regardless of what his time in Pittsburgh may be remembered as this is one moment where Bush gets to laugh without the Steelers being able to say anything in response.
The Steelers chose to decline Bush's fifth-year option, something that everyone saw coming, but it was still a painful blow for Bush to take. After finding a new home with the Seattle Seahawks playing on a one-year deal, Bush may not be the defensive contributor he was envisioned to be, but he is apparently still able to enjoy moments like this.

Steelers Blow Huge Opportunity To Erase Their Shortcomings
It wasn't just that the Steelers lost to the Colts, it was the incredibly slim margin of error that Pittsburgh gave itself entering the Week 15 game thanks to their horrible losses to the Arizona Cardinals and New England Patriots. Crammed in with the countless AFC teams who came into Week 15 with a 7-6 record, the Steelers are now on the outside looking without too much positivity to lift their spirits.
After leading 13-0 through the first quarter and a half, Pittsburgh remembered who they actually were and allowed the Colts to storm back with 30 unanswered points. To add insult to injury, quite literally, in Pittsburgh's case, it was two backup running backs leading the Colts' rushing attack that gave the final blows in the 30-13 victory over the Steelers.
The combination of Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson allowed the Colts to drive the ball down the throats of the struggling Steelers' defense by running the ball 13 straight times in a 15-play drive. That particular drive ended in a field goal that put the Colts a full 14 points ahead of Pittsburgh, something that is well outside the Steelers' range for scoring within a game, let alone a comeback.

Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin has proven more and more in 2023 that his coaching abilities are becoming antiquated
Thanks to their fall from 7-4 prior to Week 13, the Steelers now find themselves at 7-7 and in danger of watching their season collapse into nothing. Mike Tomlin may see his first losing season as the head coach of the Steelers, and that is the least of their worries. Maybe it would be different if this team showed themselves to be capable of pulling it together and mounting a memorable, 2005-esque comeback that launches them into the playoffs, but they aren't able to do that.
What other NFL teams pull off with ease, the 2023 Steelers turn into a painful, sluggish crawl. Nothing that the Steelers have shown in 2023 should make anyone believe that they can still turn this season around, but perhaps the supposed experts can still be proven wrong. It's highly debatable, considering the product on display throughout the 2023 season, but there could be a slight chance.
Can the 2023 Steelers turn their season around at 7-7?
