The Pittsburgh Steelers running backs, Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren, found themselves at the center of attention during the Super Bowl festivities in Las Vegas. While promoting Bounty paper towels and wings, they faced a barrage of questions from interviewers. However, one question in particular seemed to strike a nerve with Harris.

Steelers' Quarterback Situation Getting Hotter
The interviewer brought up comments made by Art Rooney II regarding the Steelers' quarterback situation. Rooney had openly stated that the team was not necessarily set at the quarterback position. This comment set the stage for a potentially uncomfortable conversation.
“Art Rooney II came right out and said we’re not necessarily set at quarterback. If there’s one guy you can go out and get at that position…”
As soon as the interviewer mentioned Rooney's remarks, Harris interrupted, cutting off the question with an annoyed, but simple sentiment.
"Next question."
His response hinted at the frustration simmering beneath the surface. Harris has zero interest in making any remarks about the quarterback situation in Pittsburgh. His teammate Diontae Johnson made some remarks and the media ran with them. It's clear that Harris is simply trying to avoid a media storm like Johnson found himself in.

The Steelers' quarterback situation has been a topic of intense debate throughout the offseason. Kenny Pickett, the current QB1, has faced scrutiny from fans and pundits alike. Despite flashes of potential, Pickett has struggled to consistently deliver impressive performances. Pickett has not done enough to solidify his status as the franchise quarterback of the future.
While Pickett has shown glimpses of promise, his overall performance has left much to be desired. Although he has managed to lead the Steelers to victory on several occasions, his passing statistics have failed to impress. The pressure is on for Pickett to prove himself under the guidance of new Offensive Coordinator, Arthur Smith.
Adding to the uncertainty is the impending free agency of Mason Rudolph and the departure of Mitch Trubisky. Rudolph's future with the team remains uncertain, leaving the Steelers with yet another question mark at the quarterback position. It seems clear that although the Steelers are interested in retaining Rudolph, he is inclined to explore opportunities elsewhere, seeking a place where he can compete for a starting position.

Despite the uncertainty, rumors have swirled regarding potential replacements for Pickett. Justin Fields has been mentioned as a possible target, with ESPN's Adam Schefter fueling speculation. Additionally, Ryan Tannehill's past success under Smith has sparked interest in his potential arrival in Pittsburgh.
Amidst the speculation and uncertainty, Harris has chosen to remain tight-lipped. Despite his frustration evident in the interview, Harris has opted to keep his opinions regarding the Steelers' quarterback situation private. With three consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons to his name, Harris's focus remains squarely on his performance on the field.
The quarterback dilemma for the Steelers is set to dominate the offseason discussion. Options include pursuing talents like Tannehill or Fields, or relying on the NFL Draft to unearth a potential candidate. Yet, the team must also address other areas of concern, raising the question of whether investing a draft pick in a quarterback is a priority.
As the offseason progresses, the Steelers find themselves embroiled in a quarterback quandary. With no clear resolution in sight, fans and players alike can only wait and speculate on what the future holds. In the meantime, Harris and his fellow teammates will continue to focus on their preparation for the upcoming season, leaving the quarterback question to be answered in due time.
