It seems like forever away, but the Pittsburgh Steelers will soon be on the clock at the 2024 NFL Draft. With the offseason already in full swing, the team has now moved into the next phase, which means constant meetings with potential draft selections. The 2024 NFL Combine has now kicked off and with most of the Steelers brass already in Indianapolis, you can expect plenty of news to start rolling in.

Unfortunately on Tuesday, Steelers General Manager Omar Khan was forced to skip his press conference. Word out of Indianapolis is that Khan had a death in the family. There hasn't been an update given on when Khan will be available or when he will be back in Indy.

Here below, you will find players that the team has met with so far in the pre-draft process, typically a sign the team is at least interested in the player:

Clemson Linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr.: Trotter, the namesake of his father who was a force during his 11-year NFL career, now hopes to begin his own legacy in the league. It's no secret that the Steelers love players with lineage in the league, so it's not a surprise they are showing immediate interest in Trotter.

Texas A&M Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper: Cooper is explosive and can cover a lot of ground quick from the inside linebacker position. He finished his senior season with 17 tackles for loss and 8 sacks, while starting all 12 games for the Aggies.

Michigan Linebacker Junior Colson: Colson was a key part of the Wolverines' National Championship defense. Colson is considered an impressive coverage linebacker that has the speed to carry tight ends and running backs on wheel routes. One of his biggest flaws though is his inability to always come downhill in the run game.

Ohio State Linebacker Tommy Eichenberg: Eichenberg is considered a true MIKE linebacker. He's furious at the line of scrimmage and is considered a very violent hitter.

Texas A&M Defensive Lineman McKinnley Jackson: Jackson has a high level first step and is regularly able to time that snap. Those two things combined led to Jackson being able to get into the backfield and disrupt plays often. Jackson will likely need some time to refine his craft at the NFL level and won't be a plug and play type of selection.

Clemson Defensive Lineman Ruke Orhorhoro: Orhorhoro is a former basketball player moved to football. He has a long frame and plenty of natural talent, but he is a project for any team. He likely won't be selected until late on Day 3.

Kansas Edge Austin Booker: Booker transferred to Kansas this past season and finally was able to get onto the field. He has an extremely small sample size, but it's a good sample. He recorded 56 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and eight sacks in his one season with the Jayhawks. He has a high ceiling, but it's likely Booker will only be able to be a situational pass rusher for his first year or two in the league.

Texas Defensive Line Byron Murphy II: The Texas product could eventually follow in the footsteps of another Longhorn. Murphy is measured at 6'1 305, and former Steelers standout Casey Hampton was listed at 6'1 325 but it's likely he was way heavier in his later days. Murphy says he prefers playing in a 4-3, but he'd be a strong fit a nose tackle for Pittsburgh.

Florida State Tight End Jahiem Bell: Bell is on the short side for a tight end at only 6'3. He also struggles in blocking. He is very athletic and can stretch the field with his above average speed for a tight end.

Iowa Cornerback Cooper DeJean: DeJean had his season cut short at Iowa with a broken leg but he's still projected by many to be a first round pick. He would quickly solve the Steelers issue at CB2 next to Joey Porter Jr. He loves to tackle which is something that the Steelers require from their cornerbacks.

Alabama Cornerback Terrion Arnold: Arnold was mostly a safety in high school but was able to make the switch to cornerback at the collegiate level. He has smooth tackling and ball skills to go along with his high football IQ.

Minnesota Safety Tyler Nubin: During his final season at Minnesota Nubin allowed just a 17.5 quarterback rating while targeted. He doesn't shy away from contact and isn't afraid to punish a receiver.

USC Safety Calen Bullock: Bullock has flashed ball hawking ability but he's a project for any NFL team. He still needs to redefine many of his skills, but if a team is able to develop him he has Pro Bowl potential.

Michigan Cornerback Mike Sainristil: Think Mike Hilton when you think of Sainristil. They have the same short and strong stature and they both can make tons of plays from the slot position.

Florida State Wide Receiver Keon Coleman: Coleman is known for his elite route-running skills and dominating on the outside. It's possible he drops to the second round, but make no mistake, he's a first round talent.

Washington Wide Receiver Jalen McMillan:

Oregon Wide Receiver Troy Franklin:

Texas Wide Receiver Adonai Mitchell:

Florida State Wide Receiver Keon Coleman:

LSU Wide Receiver Brian Thomas Jr:

Washington Wide Receiver Rome Odunze:

Alabama Tackle Amarius Mims:

Duke OL Graham Barton:

Georgia Center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger:

Notre Dame OL Blake Fisher:

Clemson Cornerback Nate Wiggins:

Alabama Cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry:

Georgia Cornerback Kamari Lassiter:
