With the 2024 NFL season inching closer for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the game themes have been officially released. As if Steeler Nation needed any more reason to come out and support their team, the game themes bring an extra excitement to the contests at Acrisure Stadium. From honoring the Super Bowl IX team of the 1974 season, to the annual Thank You Fans game, there is more to look forward to than just the games themselves.

Preseason Game Themes For The Steelers
Before the season even starts, the team will have plenty of themes planned for the preseason. When the Houston Texans come to Pittsburgh on August 9th, the Steelers will have their "Play Football" game played. There will be activities through the evening that will celebrate young athletes from those just starting, to high school seniors that enjoy playing the game of football. There will be activities throughout the night highlighting these young athletes in the Pittsburgh area. In the team's preseason matchup against the Buffalo Bills, the Steelers will have their "Family Day," where there will be plenty of fun family activities before and during the game.
Regular Season Game Themes For The Steelers
The Steelers will have their "Crucial Catch" game on October 6th against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Later that month, October 20th against the New York Jets, they will be honoring the 1974 Super Bowl IX team for their 50th Anniversary of winning the organization's first Super Bowl. There will be an alumni dinner the night before with limited amount of tickets available.

When the Cleveland Browns visit Acrisure Stadium December 8th, the Steelers will welcome the 2024 Hall of Honor Class where they will have an on-field presentation during the game. There will also be a limited amount of tickets for fans to purchase to enjoy the Hall of Honor dinner that is held the night before. "My Cause My Cleats" will be the same week as the Hall of Honor where players use their cleats to promote their charity or cause with custom cleats that will be later auctioned for their cause on NFL Auction.

The last two themes will be the "Inspire Change" game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day, and the annual "Thank You Fans" game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The "Thank You Fans" game is the organization's way of thanking Steeler Nation for all of their support with giveaways for fans in attendance and all of the fans across the globe.
