The Pittsburgh Steelers wanted revenge, and that is exactly what they got. After losing to the Cleveland Browns in Week 12, they had a rematch two weeks later in Acrisure Stadium, and Pittsburgh won to split the season series. The victory was extra pivotal as it added another game to further separate themselves from the Baltimore Ravens and keep control of the AFC North.

The game also meant a lot to Steeler Nation, who showed up and showed out as usual. They did what they normally do and stayed loud throughout the game, then find that extra bit of energy to get even louder for Renegade. All in all, it was a great experience, unless you are a Browns fan and/or family member of one of their players.
Acrisure Stadium is absolutely deafening today. The Steelers fan base wanted this one. The city wanted it. The team wanted it. We owed the Browns this ass whooping.

Carly Teller, the wife of Browns guard Wyatt Teller, did not enjoy her time at all. She went on X to complain about how the fans treated her and other Cleveland fans/family members, claiming that Steeler Nation was "blatantly disrespectful" while they were trying to enjoy the game.
The fans in Pittsburgh today were so blatantly disrespectful to me and the Browns girls. I’ve never felt so attacked by people who I literally did nothing to. Very sad/embarrassing behavior.

Wyatt Teller was asked about his wife's comments about the game experience. Instead of defending the woman he married, he actually came to the defense of the fans that root for his team's demise.
"As long as they don't put their hands on a woman, or crazy expose themselves or spit on my wife, then you can say whatever you want," said Teller. "You got to understand that when you're in a hostile environment like that, [that's] what you're going to get. This rivalry goes back way too long to be like, 'Oh, you're just the wife.' It doesn't matter. I hate you. I pray that our fans are a little better, but I know the Dawg Pound can get a little rowdy."
The Browns hate the Steelers and vice versa. The fans hate each other like the players do, and they always show it, whether it's in-game or on social media. There is no way to escape it, and Teller understands that. He probably still feels bad for his wife, but he also knows that a fan of a road team can't simply go to Acrisure Stadium and avoid being trash-talked.

Steelers-Browns Rivalry Is More Intense Thanks To One Player
There may not be a single player in the NFL that hates the Steelers more than Myles Garrett. Of course, it started in 2019, when he and Mason Rudolph got into a scrum that resulted in Rudolph getting hit over the head with his own helmet. It didn't help that Garrett would later claim that he did it due to the Steelers' quarterback calling him a slur, even though no one else heard it.
Garrett has also heard the claims that he never deserved to win AP Defensive Player of the Year, as Steeler Nation claims that the award should have gone to TJ Watt. He has obviously taken offense to that and refuses to ever let it go. He takes every chance he gets to try and troll the team, including shushing the crowd after a sack, despite being down by double-digits in the fourth quarter.

What do you think about Teller defending Steelers fans after his wife had an awful experience at Acrisure Stadium, as well as where the rivalry currently stands? Let us know in the comments.
