The Pittsburgh Steelers have had plenty of great players that have managed to stay relevant within the sports world and within pop culture as a whole. One of the most famous former Steelers players has been Terry Bradshaw. He has been a constant in the NFL ever since he was drafted by Pittsburgh back in 1970. He had a legendary career while donning the black and gold, and he made waves off the field as an actor and country singer. He became a fixture in the NFL after he retired due to his broadcasting, especially with The NFL Today on Fox.

Bradshaw is soon to be 78 years old, and with how much he is in the limelight, he tends to get himself into some trouble with what he says. This has happened more and more over the years, but the former quarterback still keeps up the appearances and seems to be living life as he prepares to cover the NFL again in 2026. He recently went on the podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, which is widely known as a contentious program that often discusses things that involve sensitive subject matter or hot-button topics involving current events.

During his appearance, the subject of stem cell therapy came up. Joe Rogan was adamant that it works, having gone through it himself for a torn rotator cuff. He brought up several instances of people having great success with stem cell therapy, but Bradshaw would not budge and continued to speak down on the medical procedure. Rogan mentioned a story about a woman that had to have her bladder removed, and she was made a new one with stem cells, and Bradshaw completely dismissed the story.

"Did that make the news?" Bradshaw asked. "It's like putting it in a bowl and you grow it in the bowl? If it works for you and you believe it, who am I to judge? Fine, that's good."

Rogan seemed to be in disbelief that Bradshaw would just ignore all of the scientific data and the legitimate cases of stem cell theory working, and he couldn't wrap his mind around it. Finally, the podcast host seemed to have enough and looked to move forward.

"Listen, if you ever get injured, holler at me," Rogan said. "I'll bring you to get some stem cells, and we'll have another conversation afterwards."

The conversation was tense although the two remained civil throughout the entire interaction as they each seemed to try to respect the other's beliefs while also arguing their own point. It ended with a simple exchange.

"We're not arguing here," Bradshaw said. "No, we're not arguing," Replied Rogan.

Their entire conversation went on for over two and a half hours, and the two covered a ton of things that have happened in the world over the last few years, while also discussing a little bit of Bradshaw's playing career.

This is nothing compared to some of the unfiltered outbursts that Bradshaw has had over the last decade or so. He is constantly making headlines for concerning behavior or bizarre remarks, so going on arguably the most popular podcast in the world for two and a half hours was bound to be a recipe for disaster. Thankfully the former quarterback didn't say anything to problematic.

Steelers Fans Will Likely See Terry Bradshaw Retire In The Next Few Years

Bradshaw spoke before the Super Bowl at the end of the 2025 season, and he told the media that he would like to retire after the network's next Super Bowl -- which would be when he is 80-years-old. He is currently 77, and the 2026 season is the last year on his current deal with the company.

He wants to work through the Super Bowl in 2028, but who knows if that will be able to happen if his contract expires.
