The 2019 NFL season has ended, but four Pittsburgh Steelers get season ending accolades by being named to the All-Pro teams.
With the improvement of the defense this year, three Steelers were named as First-Team members including: T.J. Watt (Edge), Cameron Heyward (Interior Lineman) and Minkah Fitzpatrick (Safety).
For the Second-Team, T.J. Watt was named again as a Linebacker. Perhaps being named twice may help his case in becoming the Defensive Player of the Year since I've never seen a player listed twice before.
A surprise listing was punt returner Dionte Johnson being named to the All-Pro Special Teams Second-Team after taking over return duties from Ryan Switzer in Week 11 when he was placed on Injured Reserve. Though only serving as a punt returner for 7 weeks, Johnson did manage a touchdown and led the league in punt return average with 12.4 yards per attempt with 20 punt returns.
