Chris Boswell injured his hip this week and did not practice on Saturday or Sunday. He was downgraded from questionable to doubtful, opening the door for Matt Wright to kick on Monday.
Ben Roethlisberger did not practice until today. He is listed as questionable, but is expected to play tomorrow.
Steven Nelson did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful.
Stephon Tuitt was activated from the Covid-19 Reserve List yesterday and should play. James Conner and Jerald Hawkins can potentially come off of the Covid List in time for the game. Maurkice Pouncey should miss the game if he is on the 10-day Covid Reserve List, he has a chance to return if he is on the 5-day list.
I believe the following players will be inactive against Washington
- Josh Dobbs: 3rd quarterback inactive
- Steven Nelson: Doubtful so he most likely won't play
- Chris Boswell: Doubtful so he most likely won't play
- Kevin Rader: Steelers like carrying two healthy tight ends
- Jayrone Elliott: Has been inactive two of the last three weeks
If the Steelers go with six inactives, Antoine Brooks Jr is an option.
