All-Pro guard David DeCastro is back and practiced fully all week. He should be making his first start tomorrow.

JuJu Smith-Schuster gave us a bit of a scare this week missing his first two practices. He practiced fully yesterday and is not listed on the injury list for this week’s game.

Everyone else is healthy and no players are listed in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ injury report for this week’s game.

This is a link to our current spreadsheet. It will update on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after the practice reports are issued, as well as Post-Game and Tuesday after Coach Tomlin's press conferences. Bookmark it to see how the health of the Steelers are shaping up each week. Or click here.

This week I believe the inactive players will be:

  1. Josh Dobbs: Healthy scratch/ 3rd QB
  2. Ulysees Gilbert: He was inactive the past two weeks, and is listed as the only 3rd string linebacker on the depth chart, so he probably won’t play.
  3. Carlos Davis: The Steelers had a habit of sitting one DL last year, he sat the past two weeks and should sit again this week.
  4. Zach Gentry: The swing tackle is a better blocker and he doesn’t play much on special teams. He was frequently inactive last year, was inactive the last two weeks, and should be inactive again on Sunday.
  5. Derwin Gray: With David DeCastro returning, and being a recent call up from the practice squad, he should sit leaving 8 active offensive linemen for the game.

RB Anthony McFarland was active last week but didn’t get any snaps. Word is he received some first team reps in practice, so it looks like the Steelers are looking to work McFarland into the game plan this week.

Who do you think will be inactive for the Steelers this week? Let us know in the comments below.
