COVID-19 has affected the Baltimore Ravens, but it also affected the Pittsburgh Steelers. Steelers have lost James Conner, Stephon Tuitt, and Jerald Hawkins to the COVID-19 Reserve List, but they did activate Isaiah Buggs and Kevin Dotson for this game.
It is much better than the Ravens who are missing starters at QB, RB, TE, WR, C, RT, DT, OLB, and LS. But no sympathy for a team that couldn't keep their house in order, and forced three postponements so everyone is forced to play on Wednesday afternoon, before Steeler Nation can leave from work.
Vance McDonald was activated from the COVID-19 Reserve List and is active to play.
JuJu Smith-Schuster, Ben Roethlisberger, Cameron Heyward, and Jayrone Elliott are all ready to play after missing some practices with various conditions.
Joe Haden (knee) has been limited all week in both projected and actual practice and has been given a questionable designation. Every extra day gives him an extra chance at playing.
Jaylen Samuels did not practice all week and is listed as out for this game.
I think the inactive list for tomorrow's game will be:
- Josh Dobbs - 3rd QB inactive
- Jaylen Samuels - Out
- Joe Haden - Questionable, but there is no reason to play him with Willie Snead and Mark Andrews not playing for the Ravens. Give him a game to rest.
- Jayrone Elliott - LBs are healthy and someone needs to sit.
- Derwin Gray - With Kevin Dotson returning, Gray should be inactive.
The complete practice participation is recorded below:
