The Pittsburgh Steelers have been on the minds of past Baltimore Ravens players lately. Recently, Hall of Fame safety, Ed Reed labeled Steelers legendary wide receiver, Hines Ward as "dirty" in a recent appearance on the Dan Patrick Show. Now, former Ravens linebacker, Bart Scott is back. His hate for the black and gold has been quite obvious and notable in the past, which is expected. The two sides have arguably the fiercest NFL rivalry over the last 20 years.

Since his playing days, Scott has become a TV personality, appearing on CBS's pregame show for awhile. Andrew Fillipponi of 93.7 The Fan pointed out a comment that Scott made on Get Up, a daily talk show on ESPN. This time, it was in reference to current Pittsburgh running back, Najee Harris.
"He's [Harris] not Saquon Barkley. I don't see special when I see him."
Again, this isn't the first time Scott has shared his feelings on the Steelers. He wasn't done there, either, after the criticism of Harris. Next, he attributed the team's struggles this season to them "reaching" on rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett, even going as far as saying it was a bad pick. Pickett is set to make his first career start this upcoming weekend against the Buffalo Bills.

In the weeks leading up to the 2022 NFL Draft, some had the quarterback going to the Carolina Panthers at sixth overall. He eventually fell into the Steelers' lap at 20th overall, as he was the first QB off the board. For a guy that has yet to even make a start, it's interesting as to how he can already be considered a bad pick. Not to mention, the team's 1-3 start has been at the hands of Mitch Trubisky under center, not Pickett.
Scott implied the team should have used the pick on an offensive lineman, stating that they simply don't have a good unit upfront. While that seemed to be the case after a rough three-game performance in the preseason, the offensive line has been the least of the team's concern a month into the season. Mason Cole and James Daniels have proved to be good free agent signings, stabilizing the middle of the unit. Chukwuma Okorafor has done well at right tackle after signing a huge contract extension this past off-season.
No one should be too surprised with these comments. It sounds a bit personal for Scott, who played 114 games in a Ravens uniform. All three aspects of his comments seem quite inaccurate and misinformed, though. Harris is just in his second NFL season and like Barkley, he's dealt with some poor run blocking, particularly in his rookie season.
