It’s that time of the year again. OTA’s have begun and fans and media are looking to see which players are present and which are not. Pittsburgh Steelers fans don’t have to worry about their QB room. They’re all there, headlined with veteran starting quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger:

This is exciting to see, as many people have been critical of Roethlisberger as of late, and how last season ended. After going 11-0, the team stumbled to 12-4 to end the season and were eliminated in the Wild Card round. It was definitely not the end of the season the team had in mind, but there were many positives to take away. Coming off a season ending elbow injury, Roethlisberger threw for 3,803 yards, with 33 Touchdowns to just 10 interceptions and a passer rating of 94.1.

Now with a full off season to focus on training, and showing his faith in this team by taking a pay cut, it seems Roethlisberger is ready to prove these critics wrong. The team is also committed to making Roethlisberger’s life easier by establishing a strong run game. This was apparent when they drafted running back Najee Harris in the first round of this years draft. Take a look at Roethlisberger and his new running back establishing an early connection through the ground and the air:

Starting today with OTA’s, Roethlisberger and the rest of the team will focus on building a championship roster for this season, and bringing a seventh Lombardi Trophy back to the Steel City!
