Patriots special teams ace Matthew Slater visited the Steelers on Saturday. Slater has made the AFC Pro Bowl roster seven straight seasons for his special teams play.

With the release of Robert Golden last week the Steelers could be in the market for some special teams players.
As of Sunday the team hasn't came to an agreement with Slater and it isn't known if a contract was offered.
