Offensive Line coach Mike Munchak drew a lot of interest from the Arizona Cardinals to become their next head coach. So much so that they requested a second interview with Munchak, but according to Adam Schefter he has turned it down.

Tomlin spoke of Munchak during his press conference leading into the Steelers first round bye.
“It’s about what Mike wants,” Tomlin said after the Cardinals initial request to interview him. “I think a guy who’s as talented as he is and has the resume that he has will have choices, and the choices are his.
“He needs no endorsement from me. It can be displayed in a lot of ways, the development of the men, the production of the men, the fact that we have three of our offensive linemen elected to the Pro Bowl. Mike does an awesome job.”
Losing Munchak would've been a significant blow to the Steelers coaching staff. He has worked wonders with tackles Alejandro Villanueva, and Chris Hubbard. Villanueva a converted defensive lineman made the Pro Bowl this season, and Hubbard likely turned playing time replacing Marcus Gilbert into a huge payday this off season.
