According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker, Ola Adeniyi will not be tendered by the team and will hit free agency on March 17th.
Adeniyi is a restricted free agent and went undrafted in 2018 out of Toledo. Since then, Adeniyi has been primarily a backup for the Steelers and has logged 9 tackles and 2 forced fumbles.
With the salary cap tight, the #Steelers are not able to tender RFA special teams ace & backup OLB Ola Adeniyi, source said. Heβll be a free agent.
