Next up, Deionte Thompson (S) Alabama.
Pittsburgh has had an issue with their secondary in the past, but the vulnerability of the unit was well documented with the emergence of the front seven in 2018. Alabama safety Deionte Thompson was fantastic for the Crimson Tide in his junior year as he accumulated 78 tackles, three forced fumbles, and two interceptions. Thompson's junior season was his first year as a starter. The Steelers could benefit greatly from Thompson's skill set.

The Steelers are likely moving on from Morgan Burnett and while Sean Davis has improved his game over the years, he still makes some costly mistakes at times. Thompson could help provide some depth at the position and possibly even earn himself a starting spot ahead of the 2019 season.
Check out some of Thompson's highlights below.
The Draft is set for Thursday, April 25th at 9pm EST and will run through Saturday, April 27th, 2019. You can catch it on the ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, and NFL Network stations.
