According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, Pittsburgh Steelers CB Joe Haden is seeking a contract extension from the team per his agent, Drew Rosenhaus.
Drew Rosenhaus, agent for Steelers’ Pro-Bowl CB Joe Haden, has approached the team regarding an extension for his client, who is now going into the last year of his contract. “Joe wants to finish his career with the Steelers if possible,” Rosenhaus said this morning.

Haden, who just turned 32 in April, is a 3x Pro Bowler and 1x Second-Team All-Pro who is looking to one day finish his career in Pittsburgh. Originally a member of the Cleveland Browns (2010-2016), Haden has been extremely vocal for his love for Pittsburgh and his playing time in the Steel City. Haden however is very aware of other contracts that currently need to be addressed and understands there is a "pecking order".
Talked to Joe Haden yesterday (1st in-person interview since talked to him at Pro Bowl 19 months ago) and he wants a new contract but knows there is a pecking order.

Also, he'd retire before move to safety and more.
