WR Ryan Switzer and FB Roosevelt Nix were placed on Injured Reserve today. Nix was the only fullback on the roster, and Switzer was underutilized as a slot receiver this year, but was the main kick and punt returner for the team.
WR Tevin Jones and LB Jayrone Elliott have been added to the roster. This marks the first time Jones has been on the active roster after participating in training camp and the practice squad for the past two seasons. Elliott made the initial roster and was waived on 10/11. He was then resigned on 10/23 and was active until 10/31 filling in for Anthony Chickillo while he was on the Commissioner's Exempt List. Elliott may be active today since Chickillo is listed as questionable with a rib injury.
