The Pittsburgh Steelers are off to one of the best starts in the NFL. They are one of only six teams that have yet to lose a game, and are clicking on both sides of the football. Multiple players have played great through the first three games, but perhaps the most valuable player on the Steelers team this year has been slot corner Mike Hilton.

Hilton has been a significant contributor for the Steelers, but his production in the first three games of 2020 have been the best of his short career so far. Hilton has recorded two sacks, four tackles for loss, three pass deflections and 21 combined tackles. He also recorded his first interception of the season in the Steelers last game against the Houston Texans that helped the Steelers gain momentum and lead to their game-winning drive.

The undrafted free agent from Ole Miss is playing under a one-year franchise tender and is making a case for the Steelers to offer him a long-term deal this off-season. The Steelers drafted slot corner Cameron Sutton in the 2017 NFL draft, but Hilton's play may force the Steelers to keep him around for the long-run and leave a difficult decision for Sutton.

The Steelers are set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at 1pm EST after their unexpected Week 4 bye week and look for Hilton to continue his early season success. The Steelers are expected to continue their heavy-blitz defense against a beat up Eagles offensive line and Hilton could be in line for another big game.

Who is your early season MVP? What do you think the Steelers will do with Hilton's contract at the end of the year? Sound off in the comments below!
