In a move that has been predicted by many, the Steelers are expected to release Mike Mitchell next week ahead of the new league year on March 14.

Mitchell struggled in 2017 while dealing with multiple injuries. Reports indicate that the Steelers are willing to bring back JJ Wilcox, and Mitchell on cheaper contracts.
