It's with a heavy heart that I report that Steelers legend Kevin Greene has passed away. He was 58 years old.

News just recently broke about Greene and there isn't a cause of death announced yet.

Greene teamed with Greg Lloyd to terrorize quarterbacks in the mid ninties propelling the Steelers to Super Bowl 30.

Greene finished his career with 160 sacks, 26 fumble recoveries, five interceptions, and recorded three safeties. He had double-digit sacks 10 times in his 15 seasons, and he led the NFL in sacks in 1994 (14.0) and 1996 (14.5). He was named to the NFL's All-Decade Team of the 1990s. He was a three-time first-team All-Pro (1989, 1994 and 1996) and a five-time Pro Bowler (1989, 1994-96 and 1998).

Greene was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2016 and enshrined on Aug. 6, 2016. Greene was also an inaugural member of the Steelers Hall of Honor as a member of the Class of 2017.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this very difficult time.
