Madden Does it Again: Steelers Brilliant FS Minkah Fitzpatrick is Disrespected by Leaked Rating in Madden 23

Each year, somebody on the Pittsburgh Steelers roster gets shafted by a poor player rating on the polarizing EA Sports Madden video game series! This year, it could be different, but I'm sure someone on the Steelers will be disrespected by a lower launch rating than they actually deserve!

This year’s EA Sports Madden 23 is set to release for everyone on Friday, August 19. However, if you want to spend the extra money, you could get it 3 days earlier by buying the “All-Madden” edition of the video game. We're all anxious to see the ratings! The ratings are set to be officially released starting next week on July 18th. Check out the countdown here!

Although, there is currently nothing official of player ratings, we have a few "leaks" for you, right here at SteelerNation.com!

What will Steelers FS Minkah Fitzpatrick's Rating be in Madden 23?

The Steelers superstar free safety, Minkah Fitzpatrick just recently got absolutely PAID and rightfully so! His play has spoken for itself and the All-Pro is one of the best safeties in the entire league, so his payday should reflect that! He's the highest paid safety in the game currently and has shown he's just an overall playmaker at the position. So, he'll probably receive at least a 90 overall when the video game releases launch ratings, right? According to "leaks" of player ratings, the answer to the question is, no.

WHAT?! An 89 overall?! Fitzpatrick is deserving of a much higher rating than that! I think I may be more upset with the fact that he has been "leaked" to have a "Superstar Development" trait in the game as opposed to a "Superstar X-Factor."

Come on EA Sports, he's not a superstar in development, he is a superstar! He should be in the conversation as a "Superstar X-Factor" with his teammates Cam Heyward and TJ Watt!

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the game or the term, "Superstar X-Factor," a few years ago, the developers over at EA Sports added this feature in to make the game more realistic. A “Superstar X-Factor” can help you “Win the game in clutch moments with skills that mirror the NFL player’s real-life skill set,” according to EA Sports themselves.

Fitzpatrick is deserving of a "Superstar X-Factor" ability, especially after seeing that Los Angeles ChargersDerwin James will reportedly have one. Fitzpatrick has outplayed James since he came into the league, it's as simple as that! Additionally, no one comes up in the clutch quite like Fitzpatrick does!
