Another exciting day for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Latrobe, PA on Thursday, as the team is finishing up their third week of 2022 training camp. With just one more practice before their first preseason game of the new league year against the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday, Head Coach Mike Tomlin introduced a new drill (similar to the "Oklahoma Drill") late in the day, and Pittsburgh's superstar safety stole the show.

Minkah Fitzpatrick, 25, who is recently the newest highest paid safety in the National Football League, is also coming off a minor injury he suffered on vacation earlier this off-season. Up until this week, he's missed the majority of training camp for precautionary reasons, but on Thursday, you couldn't tell. Fitzpatrick is already in mid-season form, and he's been showing it at practice since he's been back.

Fitzpatrick is entering his fifth year in the league and is already a 2x First Team All-Pro, a 2x Pro Bowler, and is a former first round pick of the Miami Dolphins in 2018. He led the Steelers in tackles last season with 124, and had seven pass break ups, along with two interceptions. He also had one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Along with TJ Watt and Cam Heyward, Fitzpatrick will look to help lead this new era "Steel Curtain" as they're poised to have one of the league's top defenses in 2o22.
