The Pittsburgh Steelers have been tied to every quarterback on the planet so far this off-season. We know, it's been ridiculous, but it's the off-season and sometimes it's fun to dream. Most of the talk has involved quarterbacks that are still under contract with other teams like Russell Wilson, and Aaron Rodgers. Today's report says that the team is interested in three quarterbacks who will become free agents in a couple of weeks:
Jameis WinstonMitchell Trubisky
Teddy Bridgewater

This comes from Tony Pauline, who works for Pro Football Network. In his report he also indicates what we have been hearing for weeks now from several sources, that the Steelers love Liberty quarterback Malik Willis.
There's not a lot of meat on the bones here from Pauline. This is what he had to say in his report:
Word right now is Pittsburgh is targeting Malik Willis in the 2022 NFL Draft. And though I cannot confirm Pittsburgh is targeting Willis, I do know they like him an awful lot. As far as free agents, I am told they are targeting three signal-callers: Mitch Trubisky, Teddy Bridgewater, and Jameis Winston.
A fantastic scenario would be acquiring one of these quarterbacks, AND getting Willis. Let Willis be able to sit for a year, or possibly two if need be while these guys bridge the gap. The Steelers should be able to win games with any of these guys if their defense remains healthy.
