The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Saturday morning that they have signed three more draft picks. The group includes 6th round selection, tight end/full back Connor Heyward from Michigan State, and both seventh round picks, linebacker Mark Robinson out of Ole Miss and quarterback Chris Oladokun out of South Dakota State.

Heyward had 35 catches that went for 326 yards and two touchdowns for the Spartans last year. The selection younger brother of Cameron Heyward has led to the Steelers now having four separate pairs of brothers on the team. He also was used in the running game with 211 carries and 825 yards on the ground throughout his collegiate career. He had five rushing touchdowns in his at Michigan State.

Soon to be former General Manager, Kevin Colbert had great things to say about Heyward, per the Steelers website.

"Connor has got exceptional ball skills, receiving abilities, for a big man. We're excited to see what he can do as a tight end, as an H-back, as a special teamer. He's very, very talented. He's very versatile."

Robinson could be a diamond in the rough as he played running back at Ole Miss aside from his final year when he made the switch to linebacker. An extremely athletic player, he could be a great special teamer for Mike Tomlin and Danny Smith.

Oladokun was the second quarterback taken by the team in the 2022 NFL Draft. It did not come as a surprise as the Steelers like to take four quarterbacks heading into training camp. The signing and selection of Oladokun could mean a trade involving Mason Rudolph sometime in training camp or the preseason. The rookie quarterback threw for 3,164 yards and 25 touchdowns for the Jackrabbits in 2021.

This comes after the team announced the signing of second round pick, wide receiver, George Pickens (Georgia) yesterday.
