The Steelers were forced to move their training camp to Heinz Field for the past two years because of COVID-19, breaking a 54-year consecutive streak of the Steelers holding their camp at Saint Vincent. Fans were still able to attend, but there were several limitations for fans, including not being allowed to ask the players for autographs. As of now, it seems like those restrictions will be lifted.
"We are very excited to return to Saint Vincent College for our Training Camp later this summer," said Art Rooney II, the team's owner and president in an article published by the Steelers.com. "We always appreciate the support from Saint Vincent as well as the Latrobe community. We look forward to having fans back on campus as we will be preparing for the 2022 season,” he adds.
The dates and times of training camp have not yet been released so stick with Steelernation.com for more details!
