The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off of their Week 9 bye relatively healthy, but certain starters have still been limited or missing practices the last week and a half or so. Not only did kicker, Chris Boswell not practice this week, but he was also placed on Injured Reserve; a move that was expected after the team signed Matthew Wright off of the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad on Wednesday. After Thursday's practice, the organization announced the updated injury report with several key players' availability still in question for the Week 10 contest against the New Orleans Saints.

The most notable is the knee injury to inside linebacker, Myles Jack. The linebacker, who is currently playing very well in his first year with the team, has dealt with the injury for a couple weeks and the hope was the bye would get him all healed up, but evidently that isn't the case. He will be an important piece to have, trying to combat Taysom Hill's flexibility for the Saints' offensive unit. Unfortunately, he was a non-participant on Thursday.
Ahkello Witherspoon, who was benched in the first half of the game against the Philadelphia Eagles, is dealing with a hamstring injury and also did not participate. His potential replacement in William Jackson III, who was just acquired from the Washington Commanders, has been nursing a back injury and joined Jack and Witherspoon on the sidelines. If neither can go, Arthur Maulet will likely get the start on Sunday.

Linebacker Malik Reed missed on Thursday due to personal reasons and Cameron Heyward took a breather for a non-injury related reason, the veteran rest he typically gets towards the end of each practice week.
Defensive lineman, Larry Ogunjobi, a key part of the Steelers' defense this season, missed Week 8 against the Eagles, but after not practicing Wednesday, took a step forward on Thursday, practicing in a limited fashion. He is also dealing with a knee injury.

Both long snapper, Christian Kuntz (rib injury) and cornerback, Levi Wallace (shoulder) participated in full on Thursday and barring any setbacks, should be good to go for the matchup against New Orleans.
For those wondering, edge rusher, T.J. Watt has still not been activated from IR, but Damontae Kazee was on Thursday. Watt should be activated within the next couple of days and both should be on the field come this weekend.
