What seems like a long time coming, former Pittsburgh Steelers safety, Troy Polamalu has been named a Hall of Fame finalist for the class of 2020.

A legend in Pittsburgh, Troy is always fondly remembered for his seemingly super-human playmaking abilities. Whether it was literally jumping over the line of scrimmage, making diving one-handed catches, or sealing the AFC Championship by intercepting Joe Flacco and taking it to the house, its been a foregone conclusion in Pittsburgh that Troy was going to make the Hall of Fame.

If there are any doubts, his accolades speak for themselves:

  • 2-Time Super Bowl Champion

  • 4 First-Team All Pro Selections

  • 8 Pro Bowl Selections

  • 2010 Defensive Player of the Year

All this along with being voted into the 2000's All Decade Team are just some of the claims to Troy's fame. Congratulations to a Pittsburgh legend!
