In what was supposed to be a day where Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro DT Cam Heyward was set to make an appearance on the Steelers Nation Radio show, a scheduling conflict prevented Heyward from showing up. The conflict you ask? Heyward wanted to be in attendance for his little brother's performance at the 2022 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, IN at Lucas Oil Stadium. Who is Heyward's little brother you ask? Full of questions yinz are today.
It's none other than Connor Heyward, fullback/tight end out of Michigan State University. Check him out:

In the clip above, we see (Connor) Heyward exhibit speed in the range just about where we would expect him to be at this stage of his football career. He clocked his best 40-yard dash time at 4.73 seconds.
Heyward is projected to be a Day 3/undrafted pick in next month's 2022 NFL Draft, but what is so intriguing about him is his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, his run-after-catch ability, and of course, that good 'ol Heyward DNA flowing through his body. Watch this:

Whether it be a rising special teams role, a future at fullback blocking for Najee Harris, or adding some depth behind Pat Freiermuth and Zach Gentry, Heyward has the tools to be a great football player at the next level; especially for the Steelers.
Connor Heyward looking excellent in drills. He'll cut his teeth on special teams but there's enough offensive value as a receiver to get him on the field as a H-Back. #Steelers
